Cop martyred, another injured as dacoits attack picket in Shikarpur

A policeman was martyred while another was severely injured when dacoits started firing indiscriminately at Labano Sheikh police picket in the jurisdiction of Rustam police station in Shikarpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The deceased cop was identified as Elahi Bux Hakrro while Anwar Ali Meher, who was severely injured, was referred to a hospital in Sukkur.
In his statement to the police, the injured policeman said more than 10 armed men attacked the picket, and tried to snatch rifles from us.
The injured cop was shifted to Civil Hospital, Shikarpur.
