PML-N, JUI gear up for protest outside Supreme Court

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to fully participate in the protest demonstration outside the Supreme Court as announced by the PDM.
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, PML-N Senior Vice-President and Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz on Saturday called an emergency consultative meeting of the party in this regard.
The meeting will be held at PML-N Central Secretariat in Lahore on 5:00pm.
PML-N Lahore President Malik Saif Khokhar and General Secretary Khawaja Imran Nazir have been directed to attend the meeting.
All members of the National Assembly and former members of the provincial assembly were also summoned, along with ticket-holders of National and provincial assembles.
Sources said the PML-N leaders will be tasked to bring maximum supporters for the protest in Islamabad.
Lawmakers will be asked to lead a 50-vehicle convoy from their respective constituencies.
The main PML-N caravan for Islamabad will set off for Islamabad on Monday and will be led by Maryam Nawaz.
JUI takes major decisions
JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has also taken important decisions at a meeting of the party in Islamabad.
Maulana Fazl directed the party’s provincial presidents to head to their respective provinces.
He asked JUI Balochistan Amir Maulana Abdul Wasay to call a meeting of the provincial leadership and lead a caravan to Islambad after consultations.
