Opp prepares conditions for govt to cooperate in legislation

The joint opposition in the parliament has prepared some conditions for cooperating with the Imran Khan-led government to pass the proposed bills.
The 24News HD TV Channel Saturday reported that the joint opposition has decided to respond to the letter of National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser.
According to sources, the opposition has prepared its condition that would be presented in its steering committee meeting for approval. The steering committee meeting would be convened tomorrow (Sunday).
The sources said that the opposition has prepared conditions for cooperation with the government in the legislation.
About the proposed conditions, the sources said that the opposition had made a demand of tabling all the recently issued ordinances from President Arif Alvi including the NAB Amendment Ordinance in the House (Parliament).
The opposition has also made a condition for the government to call the joint parliament session after getting a consensus on the controversial bills.
The opposition had also prepared a demand that the 20 hastily passed laws must be brought back to the House.
On the issue of receiving the letter from the NA Speaker, the joint opposition leader Sardar Ayaz Sadiq confirmed that they had received the letter and would reply to it after making consultation in the steering committee meeting tomorrow.
