Govt plans ‘home delivery’ of LGP cylinders this winter

The federal government has planned to sell LPG cylinders to consumers in face of the acute shortage of the gas in the country this winter, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Company has been working on ‘home delivery’ of LPG cylinders to consumers.
All SNGPL offices will be used for ‘home delivery’ of cylinders in different areas. The company will also receive charges from the consumers. Consumers located in close vicinity of the SNGPL offices will be delivered cylinders free of charge.
The SNGPL has initially acquired 100,000 LPG cylinders which will be distributed among different districts including Lahore.
The cylinders will be delivered as per the licence of the Sui Southern Gas Pipelines Limited (SSGPL).
The LPG will be sold as per the rates fixed by OGRA.
