CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi and his cabinet members visited Multan Institute of Cardiology barefooted, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to the details, Naqvi inspected the OPD and various departments of the hospital, met the patients, and inquired about the medical facilities.

The CM inspected the second floor of the hospital which is under construction and also briefed about the expansion of the project.

CM Naqvi visited the District Headquarters (DHQ) hospital in Muzaffargarh.

Provincial health minister Dr Javed Akram, Dr Jamal Nasir, chief secretary, secretary health, inspector general police, deputy commissioner Muzaffargarh, and other officials were also present during the visit.

Chief Minister reviewed all the administration of the hospital including the process of issuing slips at the reception counter.

He inspected the surgical and medical wards of the hospital including the CT scan room, X-ray, and emergency ward.

CM Naqvi visited the Institute of Psychiatry and Narcotics where he asked the patients about the treatment facilities available in the hospital.

One of the patients complained about the re-use of a syringe for which CM ordered for immediate investigation.

Moreover, Naqvi stated that there will be no compromise on providing a safe, secure, and infection-free environment to the patients.

The CM also visited Shehbaz Sharif DHQ hospital, Multan where he inspected different wards and met the patients. He also visited Darbar Shah Shams Tabriz in Kamelten and inaugurated a project worth 490 million for the renovation of the Darbar.

He also visited Cadet College Multan and briefed on the college project. The chief secretary of Punjab, additional chief secretary south, secretary of school education, and district administration were present in the briefing.
