Nine Sheesha cafes sealed, 64 arrested in Islamabad

Islamabad’s district administration in a joint operation with local police sealed nine Sheesha cafes and arrested 60 men and four women, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel on Monday.
According to details, the joint operation was conducted against indoor Sheesha cafes during late-night raids on Sunday.
Three Sheesha cafes were sealed which were located in Bahria Town in Islamabad.
During the joint operation, the raiding team seized 110 hubble bubbles along with different flavours.
Police after registering a case started an investigation against all arrested persons.
Earlier in February 2025, police had arrested 24 accused including five women during a raid on a Sheesha party in Ghalib Market area of Lahore.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Model Town Akhlaq Ahmad Tarar had said that during the raid the police team also recovered four smoking sheeshas, three sheesha flavours and music sound system.
He further revealed that all the arrested accused were holding a sheesha party in the building.
The SSP said that he has directed the Lahore police to adopt zero tolerance policy against crimes and anyone who found involved in criminal activities should be dealt as per law.
