Two abducted govt staffers freed in Bannu after ransom paid

Two government employees who were kidnapped on April 6, 2025 finally got freedom after paying ransom in Bannu, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel on Monday.
According to details, both staffers who were later identified as Nauman Al-Hussaini and Ashfaq were employed in health department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Both victims in a video message appealed to government and other notables of their areas to take immediate measures to ensure their safe release from custody.
Relatives, friends and employees of health department staged a sit-in and blocked the road in protest over their kidnapping.
After release both arrived in their respective homes safely. Sources said that both staffers were released after payment of ransom.
