Obscenity leads to ban on stage actress Afreen Pari  

Punjab Home department Tuesday imposed a province-wide ban on the stage actress and dancer Afreen Pari and issued notice as she was accused of spreading obscenity through indecent sentences and gestures, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

All sorts of stage performances and theatrical activities of the stage actress were banned by the home department claiming that she was found involved in the display and exhibition of vulgar and obscene dance performances and using obscene language.

The notice of a complete ban on the artist all over Punjab was sent to Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore and Deputy Commissioner offices across Punjab.
