Chairperson of BISP Dr Muhammad Amjad Saqib disclosed this in a special conversation with 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
As per the saving scheme, daily wage earners, labourers and deserving people will now open a savings account in any bank and get linked to this scheme.
The chairperson said that the amount deposited in the savings account will be added up by the government with an additional 40 percent deposit.
He said that the account holder will be able to draw profit from his money and the original amount any time he or she likes.
Dr Amjad Saqib said this plan is for two years and anyone can withdraw profit and money at any time.
He said that illegal government officials who benefited from BISP are out now and there were some legal reasons that why 100 percent recovery could not be recovered from these officers.
He revealed that families of government officials were taking money from BISP.
Political governments have come but BISP has not been abolished because it is practically a welfare state programme, he added.
Dr Amjad Saqib said that 9.3 million deserving families are benefiting from BISP which will now increase to 10 million.
