Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has refused the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to block Cryptocurrency websites without making a legal mechanism.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PTA has made a decision that the websites of Cryptocurrency would not be blocked at the moment.

The PTA officials said that about 1540 websites related to the cryptocurrency were sent by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) websites to block.

But, the FIA officials said that the legal reference to shutting down such websites of cryptocurrency was weak. The websites will not be shut down unless a mechanism is put in place, they added.
