The Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Tuesday de-sealed the office too of Awami Muslim League (AML) head Sheikh Rashid in Lal Haveli, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Bench disposed of the plea after de-sealing of the property.
Justice Waqas Rauf Mirza had conducted the hearing on the plea of Sheikh Rashid’s sister Abida Shamim.
Petitioner’s counsel Sardar Abdur Raziq had appeared before the court.
“The D-156 property is also a part of Lal Haveli where the political office of Sheikh Rashid is located,” Sardar Abdur Raziq Advocate had told the court.
“The ETPB illegally sealed Lal Haveli and the adjoining properties on January 30 last,” he had added.
“The court has ordered to de-seal Lal Haveli on the request of Sheikh Rashid and Sheikh Siddique. The ETPB did not de-seal the D-156 property out of bad intention,” he had maintained.
The deputy administrator de-sealed the property late at night after the court was approached.
