Man rapes job-seeking woman at gunpoint on Margalla Hills

A woman looking for a job was raped at gunpoint by a man who lured her into the deserted Trail 3 of the Margalla Hills in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Kohsar police registered a case against the accused on the complaint of the victim woman under sections of rape.

According to the FIR, the victim woman was a resident of Sheikhupura. She held a contact with a man named Nouman who promised to get her a job. The accused also took Rs80,000 from the woman in exchange for arranging work for her.

When the victim woman came from Sheikhupura to meet the accused in Rawalpindi for the job, he took her to the Trail 3 of the Margalla Hills on his motorcycle. When reached a secluded place, the accused took out his gun and sexually assaulted the poor woman at gunpoint.

The woman told police that when she tried to raise alarm, the accused had threatened to kill her.

After registering the case, police have started investigation.
