Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) have agreed to play an active role in upholding the supremacy of the Constitution, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

This agreement was reached during a telephonic conversation between PTI leader Asad Qaiser and JI emir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman on the current political situation and the movement for the restoration of constitutional in the country.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision regarding reserved seats, suggesting that the Election Commission should resign in light of this ruling.

He said that national and provincial seats should be returned to their rightful winners who won the election under Form 45.

Naeem-ur-Rehman asserted that this decision is a step towards restoring justice and fairness in the electoral process.

Asad Qaiser stated that the Supreme Court’s historic decision would strengthen democracy in Pakistan.
