Written test declared compulsory for recruitment of doctors through PPSC

Declaring mandatory, written test will be conducted for the permanent recruitment of doctors through the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
In this regard, the Punjab Public Service Commission has started the process of recruiting 900 doctors.
An examination test consisting of 100 marks will be taken from the doctors.
The exam paper will have questions related to General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs and Geography.
Papers related to Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Computer Science will have to be given.
Only the doctor securing 40 percent marks in the examination test will qualify for the interview stage.
Earlier, permanent recruitment of medical officers was done only on the basis of interview.
