Dr Yasmeen Rashid hospitalized after rearrest in Lahore

PTI Central Punjab President and former provincial health minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid was again taken into custody soon after her release by the Lahore High Court, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The LHC suspended detention of Dr Rashid along with 17 other women workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and ordered for their release on Friday. They were detained under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO).
However, the Lahore police re-arrested Dr Rashid in other cases registered against her in several police stations of the city.
She has been booked in various terrorism cases registered in Sarwar Road, Gulberg and Shadman police stations.
The PTI leader was taken to the Services Hospital, Lahore last night after she felt some health complications.
According to hospital sources, different tests of Dr Rashid were conducted. She is 70-year-old, that’s way she is having different medical conditions, they added.
Lahore CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana reached the Services hospital. A large force of policewomen was also present there.
The CCPO asked the hospital doctors about Dr Rashid’s health. He also sought their opinion regarding her shifting to the Police Lines.
However, the doctors told him that they could give their opinion after seeing her medical reports in the morning.
