After the reorganisation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Lahore, internal conflicts emerged as members expressed distrust in the city president, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.
According to the report, the newly appointed Vice President of PTI Lahore, Sadiq Khan, has refused to accept the position, citing that he was not consulted before the issuance of the notification.
In an audio message, Sadiq Khan stated, "The notification was issued without consulting me. I do not need this position."
He further declared, "I do not accept the appointment made by Sheikh Imtiaz Mehmood and hereby resign from this post."
The internal conflict underscores ongoing challenges within the party’s Lahore chapter, where unauthorised notifications continue to stir discontent among members.
