FIA nabs three passengers with fake travel documents at Sialkot Airport

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) immigration Friday arrested three passengers from Sialkot International Airport with fake travel documents, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the arrested individuals, identified as Hasan Mehmood and Abu Sufyan, were found with passports bearing fake departure and arrival stamps. Additionally, another arrested accused Rizwan Ali attempted to travel to Turkey on a fake visa. They wanted to go abroad on forged documents aiming to deceive the immigration system.
Abu Sufyan, one of the accused was apprehended while attempting to travel to Dubai on a visit visa, while Hasan Mehmood's destination was Greece, using counterfeit travel documents.
The Integrated Border Management System (IBMS) revealed no legitimate travel records for the accused in its database, underscoring the fraudulent nature of their documents.
Further investigation has revealed that the accused acquired these counterfeit stamps and visas through various agents.
The FIA spokesperson further revealed the suspects have now been transferred to the FIA's Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Gujranwala, where they will face additional scrutiny and work towards identifying the individuals responsible for orchestrating this scheme.
FIA Deputy Director of Sialkot Airport, Imam Zaidi appreciated the staff for taking timely and effective action against the accused at Sialkot Airport.
