Floodwater level is decreasing: Sindh CM

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said they have started work to restore the railway lines as the floodwater level is decreasing in the province.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Murad Ali Shah addressed a press conference on Wednesday and said they pray to Allah Almighty that there will be no more rains.
He said if the water of the river had remained high, it would have been more difficult to cover the damages.
Regarding the drainage of the floodwater, Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah said his government has taken every decision in coordination with the Irrigation Department.
The Sindh Chief Minister said till today the Pakistan Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has delivered 1,24,000 tents while the NDM has given 10,853 tents and the Navy distributed 2,586 tents.
He said Sindh needs one and a half million tents to provide shelter to the flood affectees in the province. He said they have distributed 15,46,000 mosquito nets, and 3,16,000 Ration bags while the Navy has distributed 47,175 Ration bags.
