Top bureaucrats reshuffled in Punjab

The Punjab government on Wednesday transferred and posted seven secretaries including Additional Chief Secretary and two directors general of various departments.

Punjab Services & General Administration Department issued a notification in this regard.

As per the notification, Zafar Nasrullah Khan (PAS/BS-21) has been posted as Punjab Additional Chief Secretary (Services Economy). He was earlier made Officer on Special Duty (OSD) S&GA department and reinstated as Additional Chief Secretary. 

Mohammad Sheheryar Sultan (PAS/BS-20), Secretary Schools Education Department has been transferred with immediate effect and posted as Punjab Secretary (Services), Services & General Administration Department against a vacant post.

S&GA has been posted as Secretary Population Welfare Department, as vice Muhammad Aamir Jan (PAS/BS-20), transferred.

Sarah Aslam (PAS/BS-20), Secretary Labour and Human Resource Department has been transferred with immediate effect and posted as Secretary Schools Education Department, vice Mohammad Sheheryar Sultan (PAS/BS-20), transferred.

Muhammad Aamir Jan (PAS/BS-20), Secretary Population Welfare Department has been hereby transferred, with immediate effect and posted as Secretary Labour and Human Resource Department.

Ehsan Bhutta (PAS/BS-20), Punjab Secretary Youth Affairs, Sports, Archaeology and Tourism Department has been transferred with immediate effect and posted as Secretary Tourism Department, against a newly created post.

As per the notification, he shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Secretary Youth Affairs and Sports Department, in addition to his own duties and till the posting of a regular incumbent.

Zulfiqar Ahmad Ghuman (PMS (ex-PCS)/BS-20), Officer on Special Duty S&GA has been posted as Secretary Higher Education Department with immediate effect, in his own pay & scale, against a vacant post, relieving Ms. Sarah Aslam (PAS/BS-20), of additional charge of the post.

Muhammad Suhail Shahzad (PMS (ex-PSS)/BS-19), Director General Excise and Taxation Punjab has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary Higher Education against a vacant post.

Masood Ul Haq (BS-20) Director General (Narcotics Control) Punjab has been transferred and posted as Director General Excise and Taxation Punjab.
