A citizen named Nooshaba Usman filed a petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC) and alleged that Masali Police Station, Islamabad entered her house and search the house for three long hours without a search warrant, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The women alleged that police in uniform and in plain clothes entered her house along with lady police under the supervision of SHO of Police Station Koral Shoukat Abbasi.

The petitioner maintained that the police officers held the members of the house as detainees including minors at gunpoint for several hours and snatched their mobile phones and locked them in a room.

She said policemen forcibly took a DVR recorder with them. The petitioner has taken the position that the alleged police assault was at the behest of Chairman Standing Committee on Home Affairs Khurram Nawaz over a business dispute with her husband.

The petitioner urged an inquiry into the incident and action against those responsible.
