Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) has challenged the alleged rigging and election results of three National Assembly constituencies in Islamabad during February 8 general elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The petitions were filed in the Islamabad High Court on Monday.

PTI’s independent candidates Amir Mughal from NA-46, Shoaib Shaheen from NA-47 and Ali Bukhari from NA-48 have challenged the election results of their respective constituencies.

The candidates said that the rigging was committed during the February 8 elections and the results were altered.

They prayed the court to denotify the successful MNAs belonging to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
