Famous Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has left everyone wondering if cricketer MS Dhoni is going to make his acting debut soon.
Without specifying the details of the project, Karan took to his Instagram handle and dropped a post, introducing Mahi as the “newest lover boy".
He shared a video starring Dhoni while the text reads, “For the first time ever starring MS Dhoni in a romantic avatar".
Then the clip showed Dhoni walking with a red heart balloon in his hands. “Tum jo saath chalti ho, harr safar khoonsurat banati ho," Dhoni said in the video, which ended with the text, “a love story like no other coming soon."

Sharing the post, Karan Johar captioned, “Dramatic drumroll, please! Presenting MS Dhoni—our newest lover boy! But wait, Mahi’s love for his bike isn’t new. And now, thanks to Gulf Pride & Punit’s fabulous storytelling, the world finally gets a front-row seat to this blockbuster love affair! Pure cinematic magic."
Karan's post has left a buzz on the internet wondering if Dhoni will be making his Bollywood debut soon, as he is a popular cricketer.
Reacting to the video, one of the fans wrote, "Thala the new nepo baby of Dharma in Btown."
"Thala in Bollywood," added another.
It will be Dhoni's first acting gig if he joins Karan Johar for a movie.
However, it should also be noted that a movie on Dhoni’s life has already been made titled M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story.
The film was released in August 2016 and starred Sushant Singh Rajput with Kiara Advani, Disha Patani, and Anupam Kher in lead roles.
