Shreyas Iyer named ICC Player of the Month

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the winners of its Players of the Month awards, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Tuesday.
According to the report, India’s Shreyas Iyer has been named the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for March, following his impressive performances during the month.
This is the second time Iyer has claimed this honour. Iyer was chosen ahead of New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy and Rachin Ravindra, who were also nominated for the award.
In the women’s category, Australia’s Georgia Voll was declared the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for March.
She beat out competition from her compatriot Annabel Sutherland and Chetna Prasad of the United States.
