Karachi orphanage accountant rapes 16-year-old girl

Zahra Homes Orphanage Accountant Mehdi Hassan raped a 16-year-old orphaned girl Kaniz Fatima who was residing in the vicinity located near Kashmir Road in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Jamshed Quarter Police has arrested the accused. SP Farooq Bijarani said Orphanage accountant Mehdi Hassan was the one who raped the girl and an FIR has been lodged on behalf of the victim's aunt.
A judicial magistrate has handed over the accused to police on one-day remand.
Kaniz Fatima's parents had died 11 years ago and she was kept in Zahra Homes for care.
“In June 13 meeting Kaniz Fatima told about the sexual abuse by accountant Mehdi who raped her on May 26,” the police official said.
SP Farooq Bijarani said that police would continue to interrogate the accused.
