Ch Sarwar emphasizes political transparency in journalist’s training workshop

Former Governor of Punjab, Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has announced to unveil his long-guarded political secrets soon, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking at a training workshop as a special guest, he stressed the need for Pakistan to combat corruption, money laundering, and loot without which the country cannot progress.
Five-day training workshop for female journalists was organized under the aegis of the Women Media Centre.
Female students from major universities participated in a workshop on “Democracy and General Elections 2024”.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide female students with opportunities to work in the practical field of media.
This program will continue till 17 November 2023.
In response to a question, the former Governor of Punjab stated,” Free and fair election is only possible when freedom of expression is guaranteed by the incumbent government.
Chaudhry Sarwar, a prominent figure in the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q), further stated that corruption is on the rise, poverty is increasing, and the business community is relocating its capital outside the country.
He expressed concern over these issues and highlighted the urgency of addressing them for the nation's development.
Responding to a question, the former Governor of Punjab emphasized the indispensable role of media freedom for transparent elections. He stated that politics has transformed into a business.
