Man allegedly commits suicide during police raid

A man allegdely ‘committed suicide’ during a police raid at his house located at Shah Kamal Road, near Millat Park in Samanabad Lahore, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to the police, a raid was conducted on Asif alias Babu's residence with the intent of apprehending him.

In the midst of the operation, the accused allegedly took a drastic step, using his own pistol to take his own life.

According to the police, Asif was a drug peddler and held a criminal history record.   

Forensic experts have been called to the scene to gather evidence, contributing to a clearer understanding of the events leading to Asif's death.

The police claimed that the alleged suicide was an attempt to evade arrest, and Asif's relatives vehemently accused the police team of causing his death.

In response to the escalating situation, a significant deployment of law enforcement personnel has been dispatched to the area to maintain order and order.
