Another polio case surfaces in Quetta, immunisation campaign from Oct  28

Another polio case has surfaced in the country, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

The fresh case surfaced in the Quetta district of Balochistan, bringing this year’s tally to 33 in the country, the National Institution of Health said.

So far, 17 cases have been reported from Balochistan, 10 from Sindh, 4 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and one each from Punjab and Islamabad.

A nationwide anti-polio campaign is being launched from October 28 and the health authorities have called upon parents to ensure participation in the campaign.
