Heavy machinery set ablaze in attacks on construction camps at Kalat

Unidentified armed assailants carried out two attacks on camps of crash plants working on the National Highway in Kalat and Mangochar late at night on Tuesday.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, during the attack, several pieces of heavy machinery were set on fire, causing significant damage.

The Levies sources said the armed men held the labourers at the camp hostage for a long time before eventually releasing them unharmed.

The channel reported that the motive of the militants behind the attacks remains unclear, and local authorities are investigating the incident.
