Deewangi is a new drama circling the theme of love, trust, and revenge, produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi.
It is written by Sadia Akhter, directed by Zeeshan Ahmed and stars Zoya Nasir as Narmeen, Danish Taimoor as Sultan Durrani, and Hira Bukhari as Nageen Faiyaz.
Zoya Nasir stepped into the entertainment industry just a year ago. Still, she garnered appreciation for her debut lead role as and in Hania, where she played as a frightened wife opposite Junaid Khan as her abusive husband.
It is highly commendable how she continues to wow us all by her acting skills and versatility going from a shy, conservative character to a strong-headed, outspoken character.
Being equally challenging and executed with flair Deewangi has given her a bigger platform to truly show her acting skills because her character is one of the most complex characters to work with.

Narmeen is an antagonist in the drama, where she has a lot of different moods, to begin with. She can be happy at one moment, and she can go to severe tantrums if she does not get what she wants.
She is seen as a loving person when it comes to Sultan Durrani, but at the same time, she can be incredibly selfish and can disregard her own parents’ honour for the sake of her love.
Playing such a crazy character requires a firm hold of facial expressions and a lot of acting talent, and Zoya Nasir has been blessed with both. After being married to Sultan, we saw many shades of her character, and it is interesting to see how she pulls off every single one of them.
With every passing episode of Deewangi, the intensity of suspense is increasing, and so is the energy with which Zoya Nasir is carrying her character.
