QAU holds classes in open to protest Bhara Kahu Bypass project

Lecturers and students of Quaid-e-Azam University have started holding classes in the open as a symbol of protest against the construction of the Bhara Kahu Bypass on the part of the land that belongs to the varsity, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
University students are taking classes while sitting on mats under the open sky. The university faculty said that a large part of the land that belonged to the university has been grabbed to construct the bypass.
The faculty said that the university’s land will be divided into two parts after the construction of the bypass.
They urged the government to adopt any alternative way of constructing the bypass so that the university may not get affected.
