The final match of Kabaddi World Cup 2020 will be played between Pakistan and India in Lahore today (Sunday).

Iran and Australia will contest at the same venue for the third and fourth positions.

India secured their place in final by beating Australia by 42-32 points in the first semi-final while Pakistan defeated Iran by 52-30 in the second semi-final.

It is for the fifth time that Pakistan has reached the final of the mega event.

The traditional game of the region is an event of passions, only second to cricket in Pakistan and India especially.

Though Indian Olympic Association (IOA) tried to dry the enthusiasm around the game by disowning the 60 Indian athletes a day after they arrived in Lahore via the Wagah Border, the interest of the people on both sides of the border remains very much alive and high.
