Punjab CM Naqvi reviews progress on Services Hospital’s new lab, diagnostic centre

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Services Hospital late at night and reviewed the construction of new lab and diagnostic center, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Mohsin Naqvi also inspected the progress on the construction of new lab and diagnostic center.
Chief Minister Punjab gave the time frame of 10 days for completion of project and directed the concerned authorities to complete the project of the new lab and diagnostic center quickly as the hospital will also get revenue from the state of art lab and diagnostic center.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed the principal SIMS to monitor project day and night and complete it under your supervision.
Provincial Ministers Dr. Javed Akram, Mansoor Qadir, Azfarali Nasir, Secretary Health, Secretary Construction and Communications, Commissioner Lahore, CCPO, Deputy Commissioner, MS Services Hospital and related authorities were present on the occasion.
Visit to Children Hospital
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the upgraded Out Patient Door (OPD) of Children’s Hospital for children suffering from blood cancer.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed his compassion to Kainat, a child suffering from blood cancer, Abdul Mufti Hanan, who underwent bone marrow transplant and donor Sher Baz.
After the inauguration of the OPD, prayers were offered for blessings.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the first and second floor of OPD and inspected various departments.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi was introduced to senior doctors and faculty members.
“Thank you Mr. Chief Minister”, senor doctors expressed gratitude to Mohsin Naqvi for the upgradation of the Children's Hospital.
Talking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that it is the duty of doctors and nurses to pay full attention to the children's hospital and take care of it like home.
If doctors, nurses and paramedical staff take ownership, there is no reason why Children's Hospital cannot become an exemplary institution, said Mohsen Naqvi.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi observed the Hospital Information Management System at the reception counter.
Hospital Information Management System has been implemented in OPD Pharmacy, Pediatric Admission and Discharge and Main Medicine Store.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the play area, doctor and staff rooms.
After the emergency block, the OPD of the Children's Hospital is also equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, said Mohsin Naqvi.
He said the team of the Department of Construction and Communications and the Health Department worked hard day and night to complete the difficult work quickly.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi also visited the emergency block.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed to install more benches for sitting in the waiting area.
Adequate seating arrangements should be made for caregivers of sick children, Mohsin Naqvi further directed.
Provincial Minister Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Dr. Javed Akram, Secretary Health, Secretary Construction and Communications, Commissioner Lahore, Vice Chancellor Children's University Dr. Mahmood Sadiq, Executive Director Children's Hospital Dr. Tipu Sultan and concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
