Punjab CM okays promotion of 30 DSPs to SPs

Following approval from the Punjab Chief Minister, the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) Monday issued a notification announcing the promotion of 30 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP), reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

The promotions were finalized during a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Board, presided over by the Inspector General (IG) of Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar.  

The list of officers promoted to the position of SP includes notable names such as Miss Rubina Abbas, Babar Ali, Shahzad Manzoor, Ghazanfar Abbas, Shahid Iqbal, Shakeel Ahmed Khokhar, Sabir Ali Bhatta, Mian Absar Ahmad Lal Muhammad Khokhar, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Gillani, Zafar Iqbal, Basheer Ahmad, Kaiwan Karim Abbasi, and Imran Mushtaq Malik.

Additionally, the list encompasses Zafar Abbas Naqvi, Nasir Nawaz, Muhammad Riaz, Ghulam Abbas Rana, Shahid Rasheed, Muhammad Riaz Anwar, Abdul Rehman Asim, Mohmas Saeed, Ghulam Abbas, Muhammad Javed Akhtar, Fateh Ahmad Farooq Bhatta, Ghulam Muttahida Khafez, and Muhammad Azhar Yaqub.

This promotion signified recognition of their dedicated service and accomplishments in the police force.
