Bilawal okays PPP members for parliamentary body to appoint CJ

The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has approved three members for the parliamentary committee tasked with overseeing the appointment of the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
Following consultations, the names of senior PPP leaders Syed Naveed Qamar, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, and Farooq H. Naik have been sent to the National Assembly Secretariat for formal inclusion in the committee.
Naveed Qamar and Pervaiz Ashraf, both veteran parliamentarians, will represent the PPP from the National Assembly, while Farooq H. Naik, a seasoned politician and legal expert, has been nominated from the Senate.
The names were officially forwarded by PPP's Chief Whip in the National Assembly, Ejaz Jakhrani, confirming the party’s representation in the important committee.
