TLMJ ranked highest grossing film from Sub-continent in four months

The Legend of Maula Jutt Tuesday broke another record and became the highest-grossing film from the subcontinent in four months.
Lollywood’s biggest blockbuster to date, The Legend of Maula Jutt not only charmed audiences in Pakistan but also all across the globe.
Setting a milestone of grossing more than Rs1.5Billion worldwide, the film became the highest-grossing film from the South-Asian sub-continent in the last four months in the United Kingdom and Ireland as well.
According to sources, TLMJ earned £44,149 in the fifth week of its release in the United Kingdom, adding up to the total earning of almost £1.3million, shattering the statistics of India’s hit blockbuster Ponniyan Selvan: 1 that earned £1.26m.
The Legend of Maula Jutt is a presentation of Geo Films, Encyclopedia, and Lashari Films and is written by Director Bilal Lashari himself and Nasir Adeeb. It features Lollywood stars Hamza Ali Abbasi, Fawad Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malik, Faris Shafi, and Ali Azmat in the lead roles.
