President, PM, interior minister pay tribute to security forces over DI Khan IBO

President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Thursday paid rich tribute to Pakistan’s security forces after the successful elimination of four Khawarij terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Dera Ismail Khan district, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
President Zardari praised the bravery and valor of the troops who conducted the operation, stating that the elimination of terrorists linked to Fitnat-ul-Kharij was a testament to the strength and professionalism of Pakistan's security apparatus.
“The nation will always remember the sacrifices of its brave martyrs,” he said, while paying homage to Sepoy Basit Siddiqui, who was martyred in the line of duty.
Expressing heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the President said the entire nation stands united behind its security forces and reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering resolve to eliminate all terrorist elements.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also lauded the operation. “The security forces have once again proven that they will not allow enemies of peace to succeed,” the Prime Minister said.
He paid glowing tribute to Shaheed Sepoy Basit Siddiqui, praying for his elevation in Jannah and extending condolences to the grieving family.
“The whole nation salutes martyr Basit Siddiqui,” he said.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi echoed these sentiments, commending the timely and courageous action of the forces in foiling the “nefarious intentions of Khawarij terrorists.”
He too extended sympathies to the family of the martyred soldier, declaring, “We salute the great sacrifice of Shaheed Sepoy Basit.”
He reiterated Pakistan's determination to carry on its decisive battle against terrorism.
“Our fight will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated,” he said.
