Qamar Saleem returns with a new single, "Lamhaa", marking a rare and electrifying musical collaboration between Pakistan and India.
Following the success of "Darmiyan", released over two years ago and known for its unique animation promoting classic Pakistani literature, Qamar has remained largely absent from the music scene. Since his debut in 2021, he has released six original songs, establishing a global fan base with his purposeful and inspiring music.
For the past two years, there have been no new singles or public updates from Qamar or his team. During this time, he focused on developing his next release, emphasising quality over publicity.
The upcoming release, "Lamhaa", features a collaboration with renowned Indian vocalist Sumedha Karmahe. She is known for her performances in songs like "Nazm Nazm" (Bareilly Ki Barfi), "Namo Namo" (Kedarnath), and "Toota Jo Kabhi Taara" (A Flying Jatt), a duet with Atif Aslam. Sumedha has worked with artists such as Arijit Singh and has sung in multiple languages. She has also served as a jury member on Zee TV’s SaReGaMaPa Li’l Champs and is recognised for her international performances.
This collaboration between Qamar Saleem and Sumedha Karmahe represents a significant step in cross-border musical cooperation. Qamar continues to explore new creative directions, contributing to the evolution of Pakistan's music industry and engaging listeners worldwide.
