Application for FIR filed against dances in Jinnah Center

An application has been filed in Dahmial police station Rawalpindi for registration of a case against the officials who organized a “vulgar” dance in the Jinnah Convention Center on 14th August, reported 24 News HD TV Channel.
The application submitted by a local Shafiq Satti says that the dance on the occasion of the national sacred event is shameful conduct and an “insult to our Independence Day”.
What happened in the convention center was against Islamic values, the issue spread obscenity and nudity which hurt the national dignity, it adds.
The main event of the 75th Independence Day of Pakistan took place at the Jinnah Convention Center in Islamabad. The event was attended by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani as well as members of the Federal Cabinet.
In the application, it is also said that religious scholars were also present in the program who did not stop the dances.
