Indian film Kali Jotta gets clean-chit from Punjab censor board

The Punjab Film Censor Board has given a clean chit to the Indian Punjabi comedy film Kali Jotta.
Vijay Kumar Arora is the director and Harinder Kour wrote the film starring Satinder Sartaaj, Ankur Verma and Neeru Bajwa.
It will hit the silver screen on August 18.
The movie depicts the life and struggle of woman Raabia and her student Anant.
Their bond poses various questions and disagreements towards the politics of gender performativity in the local cultural system.
