Countering no-trust motion: Federal cabinet expansion on cards

Preparations are underway to expand the federal cabinet, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

According to sources, the authorities have been considering measures to stem anti-government move. 

They added that angry allies and party members will be made cabinet members so that the no-trust motion of the opposition could be countered.

The expansion and reshuffle in the cabinet is not related to the performance of its members, the insiders said, adding that the opposition parties’ activities made the government take such steps,
