The Petroleum Dealers Association announced the withdrawal of a strike call after successful negotiations between the Ministry of Petroleum and association reps, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Sunday.
The talks were held in a meeting with the minister of state for energy and petroleum division in the chair.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Federal Secretary for Petroleum Zafar Ali Bhatta also attended the meeting after which the dealers announced that the supply of petroleum products will continue.
This decision was taken in the interest of the people and the ministry of energy welcomes the decision of the dealers
The top management of PSO, OGRA, and OCAC heads and representatives of oil marketing companies participated in the meeting.
