The Young Doctors Association (YDA) Balochistan has given a 24-hour ultimatum over lack of facilities and equipment to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
They warned of calling a strike and staging protests if their demands are not met.
As the threat of coronavirus spread increases in the province, the YDA Balochistan, Dr Yasir, said the province did not have testing kits, medical equipment and other facilities to tackle the crisis.
He warned that the doctors would not perform their duties in the isolation wards if all the necessary items were not available.
Dr Yasir especially noted that thousands of people from Iran, which is an epicentre of the coronavirus, had entered the province.
He said the concerns had been shared with the provincial government and an emergency meeting of YDA would decide about the future course of action.
