The story mainly revolves around Raima played by Madiha Imam, who gets kidnapped by Sardar Saif-ur-Rehman, played by Faisal Qureshi. Saif-ur-Rehman, who after falling in love with Raima had made it his life’s mission to get her at any cost, went to great lengths to get Raima in his life.
After a lot of tears on Raima’s part, and threats on Sardar Saif-ur-Rehman’s part, he finally makes her marry him, still locked up in his mansion.
Apart from the brilliant direction and great performances, the drama has managed to get everyone’s attention because of the unconventional plot. Recently, Muqaddar took twitter by storm as we saw audiences and critics discussing the ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ of the story.
There are a lot of questions being raised on Raima, and her reactions. Some people are of the opinion that Raima should’ve taken a bold step.
While some people think that this is a story that talks about ‘rape’, the other half are convinced it centers on forced marriages and feudal lords and their egos.
All in all, Muqaddar has managed to stir up quite a conversation on the internet. What do you think Raima should’ve done? Did she deal with the situation in the right way, or was there another way to go about this?
Now that Raima is married to Saif-ur-Rehman, and according to the recent promos she will visit her home in the next episode, we are waiting to see what would be happening in the story now.
