Four Khwarij terrorists were killed in a joint intelligence-based operation carried out in Swat District by security forces and law enforcement agencies, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to an ISPR statement released on Friday afternoon, on 18 April 2025, security forces and law enforcement agencies’ personnel conducted a joint intelligence-based operation in Swat District on reported presence of Khwarij.
During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged Khwarij location, resultantly four Khwarij were sent to hell.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain Khwarij, who had remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
Sanitization operation was conducted to eliminate any other Khwarji found in the area, as the security forces in coordination with law enforcement agencies of Pakistan were determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country, the ISPR statement said.
Meanwhile, President Asif Zardari and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi lauded the security forces for killing four Khawarij during an operation in Swat.
President Zardari praised the bravery of security forces during the intelligence-based operation to eliminate the terrorists of Fitna al Khawarij. He said the nation will always remember the sacrifices of its brave martyrs.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also paid tribute to security forces for successful operation against Khawarji terrorists in Swat. Mohsin Naqvi praises the professionalism of security forces for killing 4 terrorists.
He said security forces bravely brought 4 Khawarji terrorists to a tragic end and thwarted their nefarious designs.
Naqvi said the nation stands with the security forces. He said operations will continue until the complete elimination of Khawarji terrorists and their facilitators. Naqvi said Pakistan's security forces are determined to make Pakistan a cradle of peace. A handful of Khawarij terrorists will not find a place to hide anywhere.
