Private operators responsible for cancellation of Hajj quota: Minister

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousaf explaining the reason for cancellation of private Hajj quota said the organization of private Hajj operators did not make timely arrangements, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sardar Yousaf said this year, 300,000 private pilgrims from all over the world will not be able to perform Hajj.
On the request of the Prime Minister, Saudi Arabia increased Pakistan's Hajj quota by 10,000, Sardar Yousaf said.
He said this year, 89,000 pilgrims will perform Hajj under the government scheme, Minister for Religious Affairs.
As many as 21,000 pilgrims under the government scheme will go for Hajj from Karachi, Sardar Yousaf said.
He said training of pilgrims is underway across the country, Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousaf said.
He said all pilgrims will perform Hajj with full training.
The Minister claimed that best arrangements have been made for pilgrims this year.
All facilities will be provided to pilgrims in Mecca, Medina and Mashahir, Sardar Yousaf said.
