LHC bans study-abroad leaves for judges with less than five-year service

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has banned the leaves of lower court judges for studying abroad who have served less than five years, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Registrar LHC issued a notification which stated that the leaves for studying abroad have been banned for the judges whose period of service is less than five years.
Government servants with less than five years of service are not granted leave for education under Rule 7, stated the notification.
Judges on less than five years of service or in probation should not apply for leaves for studying abroad. It was also stated in the notification that strict legal actions will be taken against negligent judges who fail to comply with the order.
The notification was sent to all the judges of the lower courts on the order of Chief Justice LHC.
