Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Salik Hussain has categorically denied any seat adjustment between his party and PML-N, reported the 241NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing media persons, he emphasized the independence of the PML-Q in its electoral pursuits.

Salik Hussain asserted that it is useless to accuse Nawaz Sharif of being a ladle (pampered).

“In Pakistan, there is always someone who is pampered. The accusers are also being pampered, those who are accused are also being pampered,” he maintained.

The political landscape in Pakistan is, as always, rife with accusations and counter-accusations, a situation Salik Hussain dismisses as a futile exercise.

“It is good that Maryam Nawaz came to Gujarat.”

Chaudhry Salik Hussain warned against relying on outdated formulas for national change, emphasizing the need for innovation.

Despite the PPP's limited popularity in Central Punjab, Ch Salik Hussain highlighted the positive relations maintained with it.

He firmly expressed that there is no room for election delays and confidently predicted that the elections will proceed as scheduled.

Affirming the Muslim League-Q's decision to contest the elections independently, former federal minister Salik underscored the party's strong candidacy in various districts, particularly Gujarat and Bahawalpur. He clarified that there have been no seat adjustment talks with any other political entity.

Chaudhry revealed the party's aim to contest for 6 to 7 national and 12 to 14 provincial assembly seats.

The PML-Q's influence extends beyond traditional strongholds, with strong candidates identified in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh, he added.

Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain's political legacy, characterized by fostering positive relationships, was acknowledged by Salik Hussain.

Salik reiterated the importance of providing equal opportunities for every political party to participate in elections.

Dispelling rumors surrounding the recent meeting of the Mian brothers, Chaudhry Salik Hussain clarified that it was a casual gathering devoid of political discussions.
