Inspector Ghulam Hussain Korai, who had been injured in a terrorist attack on Karachi Police Center yesterday, has said that the assailants, wearing black dress, were hiding in a compound on the rooftop, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Speaking exclusively to 24News TV channel, Ghulam Hussain said one of the suicide bombers blew himself up on the fourth floor of the building.
He informed that one of the attackers fired bullets at him and his senior Muqaddas Haider. “And we retaliated,” he said, adding, “Then another militant threw a hand grenade at me due to which I got injured.”
The militants launched an assault on the police center in Karachi on Friday evening, resulting in an encounter with police and Rangers.
The exchange of fire claimed the lives of four law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel, while the suicide bombers blew themselves up.
