Peshawar ASF foils bid to smuggle gold to Dubai

Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel at the Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar foiled a bid to smuggle gold into the country by two Afghan passengers through a flight to Dubai, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to sources, the passengers identified Mesmat Sohaila Alkozai and Hawad Khalidy headed to the airport to arrive Dubai and upon discovery of two bags (approximately 9.9 kilograms) of gold in the form of jewelry, both were arrested by customs officials.
Customs sources claimed the seized gold worth over Rs107.6 million.
