It was revealed on Saturday that six of the 15 special assistants and advisers to the prime minister have dual nationality.
According to details released by the government to the media, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Coordination Shahbaz Gill holds US Green Card.
The Cabinet Division says that Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Digital Pakistan Dr Tania Aidrus holds nationalities of Canada and Singapore.
Also, the Cabinet Division says that Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Security Moeed Yusuf holds American nationality.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Parliamentary Coordination Nadeem Afzal Chan too has dual nationality.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfiqar Bukhari, aka Zulfi Bukhari, is also a dual nationality holder. According to the Cabinet Division, Zulfi Bukhari is a permanent resident of the United Kingdom.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Petroleum Division Nadeem Babar holds the nationality of the United States of America.
